Since November 18th...

The last time I wrote in here was November 18th. So much has happened since then.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. The whole family was at my house, there was plenty of food,
and even though, it was chaotic at times; we all managed to go around the tables and say
what we were all most thankful for individually. My sisters all had great speeches. My one
sister, who doesn't want me to name her in my blogs, lets just call her Elizabeth...ha ha lol....
She had such a great speech that we all declared, we would vote for her as President.
My eldest sister, who is like a second mother to all of us had a great big sister speech.
Her and my mom wore matching shirts. My brother went around the room taking pictures of
everyone. Then, after we had all eaten sooo much; we moved into the living room for the
"Talent Show" my nephew Tom is sooo talented that he was an honorary entertainer.

My husband and I sang- Come together by the Beatles. My brother was the MC and had to
tell us all to shut up, because, we all want to talk at the same time. He was really funny and had
plenty of jokes and introduced us all differently. My eldest sister Nora, and my mom, and my
sister Elizabeth were judges. After ,we had all sang our hearts out, and my daughters and I had
a skit, and my youngest Emma and Sarah did a dance; there was a plethora of talent.

My daughter Sarah won, with her version of Loretta Lynn Stand By Your Man. It was an incredible Thanksgiving.

Now, we have moved on to Christmas. I wrote a play, yes I wrote a play and we are going to perform it on Christmas Eve. There is costume changes, sets, and I am directing. I will be filming it, and posting it later. So needless to say we have all been very busy! I have found that I love writing plays and I am going to be writing more plays. I've cleaned my house, and there is a pile of laundry waiting for me, and I have to do some finishing touches on the play, before everyone comes over to practise today. I am blessed, to have such a wonderful family, with so much talent and artistic ability.

  2. We are blessed indeed! Oh and don't forget Shelby was a judge too, and may I add that she was a bit harder to impress than the other judges. In all it has been a wonderful Christmas season. I love this year with all the baking and family gettogethers. God is so good. Your play is fabulous! I can't wait for Christmas!
